The distinguished PCAST Working Group on Patient Safety was co-led by PSMF Founder Joe Kiani and Microsoft’s Chief Scientific Officer, Eric Horvitz. More than 40 percent of these events are due to preventable errors. We contributed a video on patient safety and the recommendations from PCAST.
