Over the past few years, Pennsylvania’s Medicaid agency (Department of Human Services or DHS) has taken specific steps to improve the quality of dental care provided by MCOs. Such steps included DHS convening MCOs quarterly to discuss their performance metrics through Quarterly Quality Review Meetings (QQRMs).
